hello, how are you doing?
im just dropping by to say thnx for ur comment on my "smoking great for ur
health tread"
well..
see you around
(sorry for the late respons, i just came back from vacation)
Hello, rickster, hopefully after this incident, you can become a helpful
member of the MT community
I notices your posting style also, if you make a post, please put some
effort into it, such as quoting someones message and offer your view on it, or
give us an example, dont just be generic. If you find the topic not interesting
enough it is okay not to post, it is not a test right?
May your Minitokyo experience be really good
Quote: First of all I'd like to say
sorry, I didn't know how things really work in this site, I'm very new to the
community here. I was merely trying to level up, but didn't know how to do it
faster, I wished when I joined the site there was some kind of place I can go to
get more information of Levels, galley submitions, etc. So, again I'm sorry
about posting too much. Also one more question, how else can I raise and
maintain my levels, because I went from 10 to 9 I had no clue
why.
I saw the thread that you made; I'm sorry that you lost
some levels, but I am glad that you have taken this all in stride and are
working to become a constructive member of the community.
You can raise levels both by posting and by receiving posts, whether in your
guestbook or in threads you create. If you do choose to create threads, please
make sure to search first (see Noob Bible #2 in the Help forum for a tutorial;
our search box is very limited and needs some finesse for proper use).
But, another good way to go about increasing levels is to comment on wallpapers
that other members have made. Commenting is not just saying "I like this
wallpaper" or "This wallpaper looks cool", but rather explaining
what about a wallpaper that you particularly like, or what about it could make
it even better.
Submitting gallery items will also help you gain levels, but when you submit
scans, you have to make absolutely sure that those scans have not already been
submitted. If you create a wallpaper, it would probably be a good idea for you
to test your works out in the Sandbox thread in the Art and Design Lounge before
submitting to make sure that your works meet the minimum criteria. If not,
you'll gain helpful comments on how to improve your skills.
One last note. . . if you would like to respond to a post in your userpage,
please don't just reply in your own guestbook, but reply in the guestbook of the
person who you wish to respond to. Otherwise, your intended recipient might
never get the message.
Hope my comments have been of assistance; welcome to Minitokyo, rickster307. I
have full confidence that you will become a valued and productive member of our
community, and I am glad to have you with us.
Quote by shinsengumirickster, since
you joined Minitokyo a week and a half ago, you have
done little more than spam the forums and your own guestbook. First of
all, do not post in your own guestbook. If you have an announcement to
make, please do so by customizing your userpage, and if you wish to
respond to a post made in your guestbook, do it in the guestbook of the
user who you wish to respond to.
Second of all, do not participate in threads if
you have nothing to
contribute. If someone asks for help, do not post saying that you
don't know the answer or anything of the sort. Only participate in
threads if you have something constructive you can contribute,
something to futher a discussion or something to increase the
collective knowledge.
Because of the volume of your spamming, I am issuing you a warning. Continued spamming will lead to
muting of your account
(meaning that you cannot make any more posts). Please let me know if
you have any questions or concerns and I will see what I can do to be
of assistance.
